Free, accurate, and private health and fitness calculators for everyone.
What We Do
Health Calculators Hub provides a suite of free online health and fitness calculators, including BMI, BMR and TDEE (daily calorie needs), body fat percentage, ideal weight, and macronutrient splits. Our tools are designed to give you quick, reliable estimates based on established medical and scientific formulas—without requiring registration, downloads, or payment.
Whether you're beginning a fitness journey, tracking progress, or simply curious about your health metrics, our calculators provide a helpful starting point. Every tool supports both metric and imperial units and includes detailed educational content to help you understand your results.
Our Mission
We believe everyone should have access to accurate health calculation tools. Our mission is to provide free, easy-to-use calculators that help people understand their health metrics and make informed decisions about their wellness journey. We prioritise accuracy by using peer-reviewed formulas, clarity by explaining results in plain language, and privacy by keeping all data on your device.
Health information shouldn't be locked behind paywalls or buried in confusing medical jargon. We aim to bridge the gap between clinical tools and everyday understanding, making it simple for anyone to check their BMI, estimate their daily calorie needs, or understand their body composition.
How Our Calculators Work
Each calculator uses formulas that are widely accepted in medical and sports science. Our BMI calculator uses the standard World Health Organisation formula (weight in kg ÷ height in metres squared). The BMR/TDEE calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, which research has shown to be the most accurate predictive equation for resting metabolic rate. Our body fat calculator uses the US Navy circumference method, and our ideal weight calculator compares three established formulas: Devine, Robinson, and Miller.
All calculations run entirely in your browser. When you enter your measurements and click Calculate, the computation happens on your device using JavaScript—nothing is sent to a server. Your inputs are optionally saved in your browser's local storage so you can return and recalculate easily, but this data never leaves your device.
Accuracy
All our calculators use established medical formulas and are regularly reviewed to reflect current scientific consensus. We clearly state which formula each calculator uses so you can verify our methodology.
Privacy
Your data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share your personal health information. All calculations happen in your browser, and saved inputs are stored locally—never transmitted to any server.
Accessibility
Completely free with no registration required. We support both metric and imperial units and provide detailed explanations alongside every result to help users of all backgrounds understand their health metrics.
Transparency
We show you exactly how calculations work with detailed breakdowns and explanations. Every calculator page includes educational content covering the formulas used, their limitations, and common mistakes to avoid.
Data Sources & Accuracy
We take accuracy seriously. Each calculator page states which formula or method is used, with references to the original research where applicable. We regularly review our calculations against current scientific literature and medical guidelines to ensure they remain reliable.
That said, all calculator results are estimates. Individual variation means your actual values may differ from calculated predictions. Factors like genetics, medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle all affect health metrics in ways that no general formula can fully capture. Our calculators are screening and educational tools—not replacements for professional assessment.
